Visit to Intersolar – North America — the Solar Sector and Upcoming Energy Storage Market in the USA !

Hey there ! Very recently as a part of my business research I visited Intersolar – USA between July 14 – 16, 2015. Got to have a closer look at the much appreciated US Solar energy market development and analyse solar energy future prospects in the USA.

This time the “Energy Storage” segment was in the limelight during the whole show. Mostly the entire second floor of the exhibition hall was fully equipped and utilized by approx. 50 companies offering ‘Electrical Energy Storage’ products & solutions. It certainly is the next huge thing anticipated in the energy sector in US during coming years and surely it will be !

The first floor was dedicated to the solar pv solutions providers, solar EPC contractors, project developers, solar pv module and inverter manufacturers etc..The third floor was mostly occupied by the solar racking system & mounting structure providers.

The future looks bright specifically in terms of the growing role of energy storage paired with solar systems. The energy storage market is certainly what one can look to venture at as an early entrant in terms of new business development in energy sector in US.

Solar energy in US is already breaking all records and the coming next years are going to be very fruitful and promising for solar arena.

The growth of US solar energy market especially rooftop solar residential & non-residential segment is primarily because of stable state and federal solar friendly policies, tax credits, rebates, solar net-metering policies and excellently well defined guidelines and permit procedures…..which is very much now the need of an hour for India if we want to achieve the ambitious target of 100 GW of solar as projected !

The USA solar market and upcoming ‘energy storage’ sector definitely is worth exploring for the Indian companies,  solar pv panel manufactures, solar energy solutions providing companies in India in case they are looking to diversify into overseas market & don’t forget – we can always help you with the same 🙂

Definitely there lies a tremendous opportunities for companies looking for expansion into solar energy & energy storage arena in the USA market provided one moves strategically.

Cheers !
