Very recently on 20th January the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) opened bids for the 750 MW Solar projects to be allotted under the JNNSM Phase II Batch I.
Details & Overview of the National Solar Mission Phase II Batch I can be accessed on our earlier blog Click Here
Below are the preliminary details of the bids & developers participating under the Solar Mission :
Number of total bids received : 68
Total Capacity: 2170 MW Capacity: DCR: 700 MW Capacity Open: 1470 MW
Interestingly the bids received under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) were approximately twice the capacity of projects to be allotted under DCR i.e. 375 MW ! It is to be noted that the total capacity of the projects which would be allotted would be 750 MW both under DCR & Open category.
The details & complete list of all the solar developers / bidders and the capacity quoted by them in each category under JNNSM Phase II Batch I is mentioned below :
The entire list can be downloaded from the official page of SECI – Click Here
The DCR clause is surely going to benefit the Indian PV Module manufacturers & bring them some relief. SECI shall carry out the Techno-Commercial bid examination in regard to the bid conditions and may seek clarifications if required from the bidders. Further, the results of the financial bid are to be announced by 20th February 2014.
So till we meet next time with more details on Solar Projects in India….
